Measuring Student Outcomes
Every decision should move Oakland students forward. Board decisions must be assessed on whether they improve well-being, opportunity, and outcomes for all Oakland students.
Strategic & Transparent Use of Resources
Every dollar should directly support students and schools. Clear fiscal consideration and measurable impact in every board decision.
Safe & Supportive Schools
Students learn best when they feel safe, seen, and supported, through neighborhood partnerships, parental involvement, and consistent behavioral standards.
Community-Driven Leadership
Families, educators, and students always have a seat at the table. Strategic goals must reflect the community's vision.
